Target Archery - a layman’s definition

The art of shooting traditional round targets of various sizes at various distances both indoors and outdoors. As with Field
archery there are a wide variety of bow styles and all ages are catered for.

HNA is affiliated to GNAS, the Grand National Archery Society,  the governing body for archery in the UK.

HNA members practice target archery at every club meeting. Some members, especially the juniors, are regularly
seen competing at club, county and regional level.

HNA hosts its own outdoor competition as well as hosting the Essex County FITA Championships, which this year (2007)
will be ‘Record Status’.
